Hey! I'm Jenn Kirby - a real estate broker turned investor, adviser, hand-holder and hype girl.I believe real estate investing and property self-management can and should be a profitable, efficient and fun adventure. But to many people, it feels draining, confusing and stressful. About
I never set out to work in real estate - I was a journalism major! - but I stumbled into it 20 years ago and fell for it hard. My husband and I bought our first investment property in 2006. Looking back, we had no business being landlords at that point! We didn't know what we didn't know.But our only option was to "fail forward" and figure things out, so that's what we did. And we've been expanding and diversifying our portfolio ever since. Over the years, we've acquired extensive experience with furnished vacation rentals, unfurnished long-term rentals, medium-term hybrids, fix-and-flips, spec and custom construction, and every phase of the buying and selling process.We've seen firsthand the potential of real estate investing to create passive income, time freedom, and generational wealth - not to mention that it's the mother of all creative outlets! It's allowed us to earn a living while having a life. And I love helping others do the same.
